Hi, I’m Christine.
Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying anxiety, navigating difficult relationships, processing past experiences, or simply trying to manage the many demands of daily life. I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported. My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, take a breath, and explore your experiences without fear of judgment.
I work with teens (13+) and adults, including LGBTQ+ individuals, who are navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and feelings of being stuck or disconnected. Whether you're working through difficult experiences from the past or facing challenges in the present, I strive to provide a warm, collaborative environment where you can better understand yourself and move toward meaningful change.
My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. I draw from Motivational Interviewing and attachment-informed perspectives to help clients identify patterns, build on existing strengths, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. I also incorporate grounding and mindfulness-based skills when helpful, supporting clients in developing greater awareness of their emotions, thoughts, and physical experiences.
As a social worker, I recognize that our mental health is shaped not only by our individual experiences but also by our relationships, environments, and larger systems. I bring this perspective into therapy while remaining focused on each client's unique story, values, and goals. My hope is to create a supportive space where you feel understood, empowered, and able to explore who you are with curiosity and compassion.
I am committed to providing affirming care for clients of all backgrounds and identities, and I believe that healing and growth happen through authentic connection, self-understanding, and the opportunity to feel truly seen.
My Approach
I approach therapy from a trauma and attachment‑informed sense. I also bring a larger social/community perspective, so I’m always holding in mind how systems, environments, and lived experiences shape a client’s internal world and access to safety. My hope is to create a space where people feel understood, supported, and able to explore themselves without judgment.
